Senior Designer, May 2018 to Present
After freelancing for Compass, I joined the team full-time as a designer and was promoted a year later, where I regularly oversee, art direct, and approve work that goes out from associate and mid-level designers. I work on a nationwide team building brand identities and editorial systems while also producing work for large regional advertising initiatives and opportunities, including the Del Mar Racetrack, the San Diego Padres, and the Los Angeles Times. Most recently, I co-lead the design direction for Curated, a magazine for the Luxury Division at Compass.

Freelance Graphic Designer, September 2017 to March 2018
I helped design and update extensive print-based brand guidelines for the 2020 Toyota Olympic partnership. I then joined a small team to design the Toyota Visual Identity System, a digital design system and framework used across desktop and mobile to help unify and communicate the Toyota brand through its product and marketing.
Freelance Graphic Designer, January 2015 to April 2018
Working with the growth and creative teams at Everlane, I designed bi-weekly product launch and event emails, with an aim to reach, retain, and convert existing customers and increase product sales. Along with designing email campaigns, I designed print collateral and experiential signage for large pop-up events and store openings.

I managed multiple clients and helped them grow their brand, often times from the ground up. Projects include logo design, brand identity and web design; leveraging everything from typography and print ephemera to Shopify, terminal, and Git for their e-commerce needs.

I worked in an iterative, data-driven, design environment, on a design team with fewer than 5 people. I primarily designed for desktop experiences including company brand pages, leading the design direction for editorial features of prominent users, and designing new product features on desktop to help improve SEO.

Leveraging the Eventbrite platform, I designed and coded custom event pages for some of Eventbrite’s most notable customers, from music festivals to marathons. Aside from building custom event pages, I learned to work within a design system and use a component library to help design new experiences.
